CityView Luxury 55+ Living Breaks Ground in Fishers

CityView Primary Rendering_January 2025The City of Fishers, HighGround, Rebar Development, Tegethoff, and other project partners celebrated the groundbreaking of CityView on January 23. The new development brings luxury active adult apartment housing, vibrant amenities, and new retail opportunities to the eastern gateway of downtown Fishers in the Nickel Plate District.

“CityView will be a welcome gateway into Fishers’ downtown Nickel Plate District where residents can live in the center of the action within walking distance to amenities like great restaurants, parks and trails, and entertainment destinations,” said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “I’m excited see a project like CityView come to fruition to address market demand for a low maintenance, age-targeted, urban living experience.”

Located at the intersection of 116th Street and Lantern Road, CityView will complete redevelopment of the south side of 116th Street from Lantern Road west to the Nickel Plate Trail, joining the First Internet Bank building and the Nickel Plate Hotel to the west.  CityView is a six-story, mixed-use building that represents a $90 million investment in Fishers. The project features 191 spacious apartment homes designed exclusively for residents aged 55 or better with condo-like finishes, 18,000 square feet of first-floor retail space with two iconic restaurant locations, both with opportunities for outdoor dining, and a 325-space parking structure including electric vehicle charging stations.

Luxury 55+ Living coming in 2027.In addition to being steps from the activities in the Nickel Plate District, CityView’s design incorporates a host of premium amenities to foster a community of connected, dynamic, and fulfilled residents. These include a resort-style courtyard with a pool, hot tub, bocce courts, outdoor kitchens, firepits and conversation areas, a fully equipped fitness center, space for yoga, Pilates and other group fitness, a private dining with commercial kitchen, and pet-friendly features, including an indoor pet relief area. An on-site lifestyle manager and dedicated concierge app ensure residents have access to personalized services and conveniences.

The collection of one- and two-bedroom apartment homes showcase chef-inspired kitchens with stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry, and quartz countertops; primary suites with large walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms; and spacious balconies with amazing downtown views.

CityView marks a growing focus on luxury active adult multi-family development.  An important alternative for cities and towns looking to diversify housing options to better serve all generations, the active adult communities are an increasingly important property-type. The housing option frees up critical single-family housing inventory for families and young professionals, while retaining engaged residents with expendable income that contribute to the area’s economic vitality.

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-2027. Prospective residents are encouraged to stay informed about updates and pre-leasing opportunities by visiting www.Live-CityView.com or follow @LiveCityView55 on Facebook and Instagram.
